• Six spot Bitcoin and ETH ETFs were officially launched, managed by China Asset Management, Harvest Global, Bosera, and HashKey.

• CZ was sentenced to four months in prison for negligence in overseeing the platform, which was exploited by criminals to transfer funds.

• Ethereum developer Consensys has initiated a lawsuit against the SEC, contesting what the company perceives as an "unlawful overreach" by the federal regulator regarding Ethereum.

• After a six-year break, Stripe will resume accepting crypto payments, initially focusing on the USDC stablecoin.

• Pantera Capital aims to gather $1 billion for a new crypto fund named Pantera Fund V. This fund will prioritize various assets, including startup equity, early-stage tokens, and liquid tokens, among others. 

• Tether, reported a $4.5 billion profit for the first quarter of 2024 in its latest unaudited quarterly reserves report.

• Coinbase released its Q1 2024 earning report today on-chain: $1.6B in total revenue, and a net income of $1.2B.
