• Avalanche announces Konami is building a blockchain

  • Konami is bringing its Resella initiative to Avalanche, a platform for gaming devs to integrate Web3 and users to simplify digital ownership

  • Other than that the company aims to bridge over existing platforms from a myriad of industries to Web3

• Redacted has secured $10 million in its most recent funding round

  • It’s an “entertainment datasphere”, aiming to build a Web3 entertainment and gamification ecosystem

• Deadrop developer Midnight Society ended" their association with studio co-founder and celebrity "Dr. Disrespect"

  • The decisions came due to new allegations regarding the circumstances surrounding his well-known Twitch ban in 2020

• Avalanche announced the Solo Leveling IP is coming to Web3 as Solo Leveling: Unlimited

  • “SL:U” will be a new collectible and experience platform built on Own Protocol

  • The platform will feature interactive storytelling, digital collectibles as rewards, and competitive leaderboards

• The Beacon is holding its WoP Mint on June 28th (today)

  • Mint info: 10,000 supply at 0.115 ETH

  • 18% of the total token supply will go to WoP holders, with 10% being allocated for just holding (without playing)

• Igloo Inc., the parent company to Pudgy Penguins and Overpass IP, mission is to become the largest onchain community

• CityVerse Tycoon released its litepaper, with more info on new game features, player archetypes, in-game assets, and more

• BLAST had its TGE on Wednesday

  • The token is trading at ~$390M MC and ~$2.3B FDV

  • Airdrop Phase 1 is now claimable and airdrop Phase 2 started as well

• NFTs as token vouchers: The NFT approach used by the Beacon, as described above is not new. However, it is an approach that aims to break the current approach of token launches (with diminishing returns).

• Depending on the Beacon’s success, I foresee more studios using the NFT token voucher approach, as an alternative way of fundraising and token distribution.
