  • Portal, a crypto gaming platform connected with hundreds of games has its $Portal airdrop campaign live. Taking over Twitter with 1.3M Tweets in only a few days.

  • Leading up to its game launch the Defimons rebrands to Spellborne. In anticipation of the game, interest in Apartment NFTs surges.

  • Animoca Brands will invest in the TON blockchain protocol and become its largest validator as it eyes GameFi development on the platform. TON is already nearing 170M transactions.

  • Oh Baby! Games announced a strategic collaboration with media giant Paramount to expand their transmedia IP. Additionally, Oh Baby Kart, its flagship title will come to Steam soon.

  • Pudgy Penguins teamed up with Walmart on Cyber Monday to launch their exclusive influencer box bundle, available on their website.

  • The $GRAPES pre-sale: $4M sold in 4 hours. Highly likely to be listed on Binance.

  • Gas Hero, STEPN’s second game, announced this week that community testing is officially live. The high volume of their NFTs shows the strength of their community.

  • Over 20+ Web3 games and platforms joined the Neo Tokyo community. this week Co-founder Alex Becker expressed his delight in the news. 

  • Metaversal releases an article: 8 Crypto Games to Watch. The list includes some under-the-radar picks like Gaus and Kamigotchi.

  • Pixels just released Guilds (V1), a new feature revolving around collective resource generation. The membership price to join a Guild will be determined by a bonding curve (inspired by Friend.tech).

  • AOFVerse held a very successful NFT sale, which went from a free mint to a now ~0.66 ETH floor price and 1100+ 24-hour ETH volume. Check out this Nexus thread on how we analyze this project.

  • Binance's new CEO, Richard Teng, laid out his vision of 'responsible growth' amid Binance's compliance overhaul. Also, Binance will stop supporting their stablecoin, BUSD, on December 15th. Please make sure to unload any BUSD you might have. 

  • Bitcoin crossed $38,000 this week, its highest level since April 2022. Micheal Saylor and MicroStrategy announced that it had acquired an additional 16,130 Bitcoin (BTC) for approximately $593.3 million, bringing its total holdings to 174,530 BTC (average purchase price of $30,252 per BTC).

  • Argentina's newly nominated crypto-friendly president, Javier Milei, is standing by his campaign promise that the shutdown of the nation's central bank is deemed a "non-negotiable issue."

  • Do Kwon, the founder of Terraform Labs, wanted in both South Korea and the United States, is set to be extradited from Montenegro following court approval for his transfer.
