🕹️ Gaming Narrative Play

• Catizen x TON Gaming: Catizen launched its CATI token on Binance last Thursday, and is now trading at a ~$751M FDV. Some say it’s much lower than they expected, I estimated it to be lower than its current FDV.

  • Even though it didn’t reach the $1B+ valuation, it did well enough to continue the narrative of TG/TON games succeeding. Next up this week (the 26th) is Hamster Kombat, which will be telling of how the next most hyped game will do. I expect a number below Catizen, in the ~$500M range.

• The U.S. Federal Reserve lowered its benchmark fed funds rate by 50 basis points to 4.75%-5% on Wednesday, marking the first rate cut in four years after the central bank's most aggressive hiking cycle.

• Revolut, a leading fintech company based in London, is reportedly developing a stablecoin. 

  • Sources familiar with the matter indicate that the company is making significant progress on this project. Revolut, which recently secured a U.K. banking license and was valued at $45 billion, aims to expand its cryptocurrency offerings while maintaining a strong commitment to compliance.

• Circle, the company behind USDC, has revealed plans to bring its token to the Sui Network. 

  • The announcement was made by Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire during the Token2049 conference in Singapore. The integration of USDC into Sui is expected to expand the range of financial services available on the network.

• Former President Trump helped officially unveil World Liberty Financial, his highly-anticipated cryptocurrency project.

  • In a recent hype video, he noted, “We're embracing the future with crypto and leaving the slow and outdated big banks behind.” 

• Crypto Finance, a division of Germany's leading stock exchange operator, has partnered with Commerzbank (CBK) to provide trading services to the bank's corporate clients.

  • This follows a similar agreement with Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) in Switzerland just two weeks ago.

• Louisiana is now taking crypto payments for state services, and its Wildlife and Fisheries Department has just taken the government’s first crypto payment.

  • The government of Louisiana has taken its first-ever crypto payment after the state’s Treasurer announced residents would have the option to pay for state services with certain crypto.

• U.S. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler has warned crypto exchanges that they must abide by rules. 

  • The SEC is actively involved in legal proceedings against major cryptocurrency exchanges like Coinbase, Kraken, and Binance. In a recent CNBC interview, Gensler emphasized the SEC's commitment to safeguarding the public.
