• Decentralized crypto exchange dYdX and blockchain firm Consensys have announced layoffs. dYdX, led by newly returned CEO Antonio Juliano, cut 35% of its staff, signaling a shift in company direction.

  • Consensys reduced its workforce by 20% to become more agile, according to CEO Joe Lubin.

• Meta is developing an AI-powered search engine to lessen its reliance on Google and Bing. 

  • This move comes as the AI search engine market intensifies, with major players like OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft competing for dominance.

• According to Financial Services and Treasury Secretary Christopher Hui, Hong Kong is planning to extend tax breaks to include crypto investments.

  • This move aims to attract more crypto investment to the region and position Hong Kong as a global crypto hub.

• Arkham Intelligence, a crypto data platform, has expanded its services to include Solana blockchain data. 

  • This allows users to track large fund movements, receive real-time trade alerts, monitor their own on-chain activity, and identify top Solana traders and investors.
